She is Board Certified by the American Osteopathic Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology (AOBOG) since 2000. Dr. Kobold is originally from Michigan and obtained her undergraduate degree from Kalamazoo College, Kalamazoo, Michigan in 1989. She received her medical school degree from the University of Health Sciences-College of Osteopathic Medicine in Kansas City, Missouri in 1993. She completed a Traditional Rotating Internship in 1994 and her residency training in Obstetrics and Gynecology in 1998 from Bi-County Community Hospital in Warren, Michigan. Her interests include menopause, adolescent gynecology and contraception.
Dr. Hina Javaid, MD
Dr. Javaid graduated from Fatima Jinnah Medical College, Lahore, Pakistan, winning academic gold medals in 2005. She completed her OB/GYN residency training at Hurley Medical Center/ Michigan State University, Flint, MI in 2014, where she served as a Chief Administrative Resident in her final year. Dr. Javaid’s research focus includes Fibroids, PCOS and Ectopic pregnancy. She has published in a number of peer reviewed journals, and presented her works at regional and national forums, resulting in awards. Frequently named as one of the competitive surgeons among her peers, she is also trained in da Vinci Robotic Gynecologic Surgery. Dr. Javaid is an active philanthropist and recently performed voluntary gynecologic surgeries on non-affording women in the Dominican Republic. She hopes to continue this work in other under-privileged parts of the world in the future.
Beth K. Mutch, MSN, FNP-BC
She is a Board Certified Nurse Practitioner with 9 years of Obstetric and Gynecologic experience. She obtained her Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from Hope College and then received her Master's of Science degree in Nursing as a Nurse Practitioner from Oakland University. She is a member of the Michigan Council of Nurse Practitioners. As a Nurse Practitioner, Beth enjoys caring for women throughout their lifespan. She is trained to care for both the gynecologic and the obstetric patient for routine care as well as urgent needs. In addition, she can perform in office procedures such as IUD insertion/removal and Implanon insertion/removal.
Teressa C. Kuz, MSN, WHNP-BC
She is a Board Certified Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner with 7 years of Critical Care experience. She obtained her Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing and her Master's of Science degree in Nursing as a Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner from Wayne State University. She is a member of the Michigan Council of Nurse Practitioners and National Association of Nurse Practitioners in Women’s Health. As a NP, Teressa is qualified to provide primary care for women throughout their lifespan. In addition she is able to perform in office procedures such as Colposcopy, IUD insertion/removal and Nexplanon insertion/removal. Teressa’s emphasis is on optimal health care maintenance and illness prevention in women.
Tanya M. Vaughn, MS, CNM, FNP-BC
Is dually certified as a nurse midwife and a family nurse practitioner who works to provide the best possible experience to match her patients’ expectations. She obtained her bachelors of science in nursing degree from the University of Michigan-Flint then went on to the University of Michigan-Ann Arbor to complete her dual midwife/family nurse practitioner program. She is currently enrolled in the Doctor of Nursing Practice program at Wayne State University-Detroit. As a midwife, her primary goal is to foster an enriching relationship with the woman and her family. This relationship is imperative to be able to provide the most effective care including helping the woman birth her baby. Her midwifery focused care functions around the central unit including the woman, her partner and their baby.
Angela Viviano, MSN, FNP-BC
She is a board certified family nurse practitioner with 15 years experience in obstetrics and gynecologic nursing. She received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from Michigan State University and her Masters of Science degree in Nursing from South University. She has a passion for the health and care of women across the lifespan and she has been trained to provide care for the gynecologic and obstetric needs of women of all ages.
Marcie S. Mullins, MSN, CNM
She is certified nurse midwife, who strives to provide individualized women centered care. She aims to develop a partnership with the women she cares for and their families. She obtained her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from University of Michigan and then received her Master of Science degree in Nursing from Frontier Nursing University. She has over twenty years of nursing experience, with the last six years specializing in women’s health. Marcie believes women are experts of their own bodies and seeks to guide women to optimal health across the life span.
